| 09-27-06 | Due to the fact that Josh is just about the busiest guy I know the Pechette Studios Website maintenance will be taken over by his silent partner. It has been a while since this site has been updated. The studio has been busy with Vesper and Arnez. When Josh is not in the studio he is doing live sound at The Egg. Recently Josh had an amazing opportunity to do sound for Deadlift on the Family Values Tour. Dead Lift opened up for Korn, Deaftones, Stone Sour, Fly Leaf, 10 Years, and many other amazing bands after winning the the Channel 103.1 Most Original Band contest. Josh said Big Day Out was one of his most enjoyable experiences. The studio is now relocated. Josh is working on customizing the space to optimize it for recording. It is an exciting adventure for everyone involved in the studio. The studio rates have changed, please see the about page for details. For those of you who have been calling to book sessions, you know that Josh is just about booked straight through the rest of this year. We foresee more opened time slots in the early part of 2007. We appreciate all of your constant interest and inquires. On a different note we would like to offer the family, friends and band mates of Peter Morris our condolences. Peter Morris from Bipolar was a talented musician who had recorded in the studio on various projects. There are no words to truly express the loss and shock we felt when we received the news of his passing. Pete will be greatly missed. |
| 05-16-05 | I fixed my guestbook, thanks Katie Cooper! I've officially been promoted to Dept. Head of Audio at The Egg. I'm not giving up on the studio by any means though. I'm reaching completion of a country album I've been working on since last year. Distant by Design is finished with their 6 song EP titled The Initiate. Vesper is on a short break from recording, but will return soon. Disgruntled Rhythm is gearing up for their last show and studio release. |
| 03-11-05 | I'll bet you all thought I went and died or something. Actually its quite the opposite. I am now the house audio
technician at the Egg. I'm responsable for almost everything that goes on there in the audio world. But I havent stopped working
the studio. Matter of fact, I've been so busy between the studio and the Egg, I'm booking into May already. Two major things
are currently in the works. The Vesper project has ben on full swing since March of
last year and the work we have done so far is awsome!! I'm also working on another very cool project with Distant By Design. Theese
guys have been on and off for a while but over the past 4 months we have been chipping away at their 5 song "EP" and should be
done with it soon. I'm also working with many many rap groups and a bunch of demos for rock/country bands. I should not fail to mention that Disgruntled Rhythm Is going to be doing some work in which I will be playing some drums at shows for. I am certanly leaving no stone unturned. |
| 09-22-04 | Well, its been a while. Since I pulled my ad from the Metroland, things have slowed down conciderably. But Its okay with me. I've gotten a job at The Egg, it keeps me busy. I bought a few upgrades here and there. The new Snare mic I got sounds most excellent!! I've got an avertising agreement with Froggy. This is a country station from the Saratoa Regon. I have an add on CRUMBS. It has been up for quite a while now, not really sure how effective it really is. Thats about it, I fixed a few things on the site that have been buggin me. thanks for checkin' in! |
| 04-28-04 | I've been busy busy busy. I'm currently working out advertising relationships with
CRUMBS and Froggy 107.1. I'm also on the lookout for a new place to put my studio. I've checked out a couple of possablities,
but I think it will be a while before I can actually make the move. I've been getting lots of love from bands featured on local radio shows, thank you very much!! it really means alot that you guys like my work!! |
| 03-21-04 | Its the busy time of year again! The calls are rolling in at the higest rate since last August. I've been working with lots of differnt stuff as usuall, with a majority of my work being with Rock and Hip-Hop/R&B. I've had a few returning bands like Fossil Rock and King Size. Thank you to all returning bands!! I've done some awsome stuff with new bands like Distant by Design and Dead Lift. Plus, I just recently finished a long term project with Disgruntled Rhythm. More and more of Pechette Studios recordings are appearing on local radio shows like Big Break and 15 Min of Fame! So when you guys do theese shows, dont forget to show some love to your favorie recording studio!:) I want to end this update by saying thanks to all you bands to keep a good word about Pechette Studios on your web sites, its a big help! | 01-25-04 | Its done. The old studio is history. It has officially been
taken away from me. Its not a problem though. I moved all my gear from that
studio to the current one and I have even made a few upgrades. The biggest is
a headphone station for musicians to control thier mix with. This will be especially usefull when tracking
live. I also brought my coustom made desk and set it up in the controll room. Check out the client list, lots of new people comming in. I am also in the process of finding new space, it should be a great place to work. When I know more about it, I'll let you know. thanks! |

| 12-30-03 | Unfortunatly there are some more problems with my other studio. Since in'm not sure how long I will be here I figured I would tell you a little about my current (temporary) location. It is on Central Ave. in albany. It has two rooms, and can be used to record bands individualy or live with decent isolation. I moved all my important gear to this location so I am able to do everyting I could do at the other location. Its unfortunate that the city of Albany has to play childish games, I guess Politics are to blame. Thanks for checking in! |
| 12-16-03 | As usual, I havent kept this site well updated. This time I Have an excuse. Many of you know that the original Pechette Studios location was shut down in August. Not because of me, but because of code violations made by the building supervisor. I have been functioning at another location, but its not nearly as nice as the first place. The good news is that I'm expecting to be back in my place in a matter of weeks. I am still fully capible at my current location so please dont hesatate to give me a call. |

| 05-06-03 | Sorry I havent updated the news in so long, things have been pretty busy around here. The studio has been very active, although most of my new clients are doing live recordings. There has definatly been an interesting mix of music flowing into the studio. In the last month alone I have done several rock bands, some hip hop, R&B, Metal, Jazz and classical. so no matter what kind of music you play, don't be afraid to bring it here! I have updated my Client list as well as the info page and equipment list. I will try to be more frequent with my updates. |

| 11-21-02 | Its finally done!!! There are only a few minor finishing touches left to do on the new studio. I've been very, very busy. It took over 2 months to crate this space, I think it turned out to be a very nice place to work. There is so much more to tell, but It is a bit late. So check out the pictures page. I also updated my equipment page. A few minor touch-ups have been added. I plan to do a new main page and top banner soon, but thats not as important as working on the acutal stuio its self. well, thanks for checkin' in! |
| 10-14-02 | Wow! is there some new stuff goin on here! As some of you know my famely and I have moved to downtown Albany, which also means Pechette Studios has re-located to Albany. I don't wanna give too much away yet, but things are going great and i expect to be open for my first sessions in the new location with Sullen-bliss. Shortly followed by Disgrundled Rhythm. There is much more to tell, but I'm gonna wait to spill my guts untill everything is done. |

| 5-27-02 | Hello all. We have finally graduated and I am now a proud holder of a B.S. in Sound Recording Technology. I have not gotten a job in the sound recording field, so I will be running the studio until something comes up. My senior project is still not mixed properly so I'll be working on that for a while. I will be working on some cosmetics to add a more professional feeling to the control room. I updated the equipment page. I will be doing more frequently updates as things get rolling around so keep checking in. |
| 5-03-02 | I'v added a few small visual things to the site, if your a regular visitor, you prolly know what they are. More importantly, I transfered my seinor project from the 2" analog tape machine to the Mackie MDR hard disk recorder. The next step is to transfer them to my computer so I can edit and mix and master them here. I have to do it this way because I only have one session left for the whole semester, and something tells me that I wont be able to mix six songs in a single 5 hour session. That kinda blows because I went out of my way to put SMPTE and click tracks that were in sinc with the SMPTE on the tape, and now I wont even be using them, oh well, thoes are the breaks I guess. |
| 4-28-02 | As some of you might have noticed, I’ve been poking around at some new Updates here and there. I've put some stuff on the pictures page, but the navigation bar isn’t working properly. Also thanks to the help of Erik, I’ve gotten rid of those damn vertical lines on my main page. Soon my HTML teacher Joel Greutman and I are going to get together and try to do some phat stuff to my page, so keep an eye out for that. Some recording news, my senior project is winding down now. So check back for some clips of that soon. One last thing, my new computer kicks some Serious ass!! |

There are things on the "Me", "Clients", and "Equipment" pages and I've also added a new background to most of the pages. Thankx to Eric for pointing out my guestbook problem. | 4-10-02 | A few changes, I kinda fixed the spacing problem on the main page. The new Pechette Studios Policies are up on the rates page. I'm not sure how closely I will follow thoes guidlines, but I do intend on being much more strict about things mentioned in the policy. I have also figured out how to keep that annoying geocites thing from popping up on all my pages! |

| 3-16-02 | Sorry its been so long since the last update. There has been a few intesting things going on. I'm just wrapping up a project with Katie Webster, we've (Cory and I) been working on a kids cd for her for a couple of weeks. I think it went pretty well and she is delighted with the product. On the other hand, Johnny Swain's CD is still not compleate. We did a 16 hour session last weekend here on campus and still have some work to do, oh well. As far as the new web site design goes, I'm still working on that, I've almost aquired all the knowlage I need in order to make the new web design a reality, you'll know when that happens. |

| 1-27-02 | I've been doing a bit of research on who has been comming to my page, and where they are comming from. I found that almost 60% of my visitors come from Katie Coopers homepage, so thank you katie! Also a notible percentage of visitors come from the homepage of Disgruntled Rhythm (19%), so thank you too Todd. Check out the sounds page, I've added some sound clips, I'll add some more from DR and Mich Safford soon. I have also (finally) added a link to my freiend Jack Garretts home page. See the links page for that. I've been trying to come up with some new sight designs and I have decided that I am going to at least try to keep up with the news section of my site, so check back oftin. |
| 1-26-02 | Well, I figured I was overdue for an update so i put a few new picutres on the pics page and a new one on the index page. This past winter break was a bit slower than I would have liked it to have been, but I did accomplish a few things. I think Johnny Swain is finally happy with his albums layout. And Disgruntled Rhythm has finished a little ditty for an undisclosed juncture. Well, I'm not sure if I'll be back in the studio after I graduate, but if enough of you email me with some good reasons to keep doing it, who konws, I just might stick it out!
